Geographically, Kilpisjärvi's clear night skies and location next to the Skandies mountain range provide optimal conditions for aurora sightings. During this guided tour, we chase the northern lights by minivan, heading in the best direction based on the latest weather forecast. This ensures the best possible chance of spotting the auroras. Throughout the journey, we make breaks for photographing the northern lights and enjoying some snacks.
This guided tour package includes guiding, thermal outfit, photos by the guide, a hot drink, and a pastry.

Meeting place for the activity is Kilpissafarit. Meeting 15–5 minutes before scheduled start. Optional pick up and return service from resort in 5 km radius from Kilpissafarit office, 5€ per person in connection with reservation. Please note timetable is in Finnish timezone.
Tour is weather permitted. In case we cancel this trip due to weather condition you will get full refund.

This activity requires minimum of 4 persons booked. If less customers, Kilpissafarit will contact customers latest on previous day and provide options of either cancellation with full refund or option for private tour with extra cost. - Outdoor clothing (thermal clothing set included)
