Rent a snowmobile in Kilpisjärvi
Always make your booking in advance using the booking form. Pick up and return the snowmobile and equipment during the rental office’s opening hours.
Please remember that independent snowmobile rental, especially in Kilpisjärvi, requires previous driving experience. For this reason, we strongly recommend taking part in our guided snowmobile tours, where you can experience the best routes and the most wonderful scenery of Kilpisjärvi safely.
Driving snowmobile is allowed only on marked snowmobile trails. Check the trails here.
Snowmobiles for rent
All our snowmobiles are beginner-friendly. Snowmobiles are equipped with seats for two, backrests and handlebars. We follow sustainability program, which means that our rental snowmobiles’ power is limited by the eco program and the top speed is around 50 – 70 km/h depending on conditions. All our snowmobiles are equipped with economical four-stroke engines.

Rental prices vary depending on the type of snowmobile and the length of the rental period. We are happy to give you an offer for longer rental periods.

The price includes:
- Snowmobile permit for the Kilpisjärvi area
- Snowmobile insurance
- VAT 25,5%
The price does not include:
- Fuel (98e5) – snowmobiles are rented with a full tank and are refuelled on return at our rental office.
Additional information and cancellation policy
- Snowmobiles are insured. Driver’s self liability in case of accident is 1 500 €/accident.
- Cancellation no later than 7 days before rental – full refund of the rental fee.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the rental date – no refund.
- Cancellation by Kilpissafaris due to weather conditions or other compelling reasons – full refund of the rental fee.
